Sarah Shaw Dawson is a born-and-raised Islander with a passion for music and the written word. She’s a full-time beat reporter at The Martha’s Vineyard Times, covering housing, health, and education; her work has been recognized by the New England Newspaper & Press Association. Sarah plays the electric and acoustic guitar and writes her own music. Her style is indie, with a rock flair, and is inspired by her community and her own life story.
